Indian cross-border traderuns on paper and patience. We are changing that.
A trade is documents, filings, movement and money, strung across agents, portals and inboxes that were never built to meet. The work is hard. Almost none of it is hard for a good reason. All of it is chasing.
Tell us what you are chasing. Or see what we are building. amin@eximfiles.io
What one trade actually takes
The nine steps of a cross-border trade are drawn above as nine bays along a quay, named 01 Order, 02 Documents, 03 Licences, 04 Freight, 05 Customs, 06 Filing, 07 Finance, 08 Compliance and 09 Credits. A consignment going out is drawn above the quay and one coming in below it, with the work standing at each step stacked against it. Going out the deepest queue is 07; coming in it is 05. Bay 08, eBRC, is clear going out only. Bay 09, ScripX, is clear in both directions, and a mark crosses the quay there: the incentive an exporter earns is the duty an importer pays.

Eventually, one product for the whole of it.
Not a tenth tool beside the nine, and not a layer over them: the nine themselves, joined. One record carrying a consignment the whole way, in or out. Two are built; the rest come one step at a time, until nothing stands between an order and its money. That is what Eximfiles is building towards.
